5 Stars – It Kept Me Up All Night!

• I am now dissatisfied with reality, because this book rocked my world.  I don’t want to just read it, I want to live it!  Will probably reread this baby.  Equals five stars on Amazon.

4.5 Stars – Damn Close to Perfection

• When I’m teetering right on the line, this is my fallback rating for something that I truly recommend, but it just barely misses the mark of perfection.  Buy it with no regrets.

4 Stars – Brain Candy for a Lazy Afternoon

• Not too much to criticize, but it lacked something that pushes it to the highest level.  Take this one to the beach, kick back, and have no regrets.  Equals four stars on Amazon.

3.5 Stars – On the Line Between Great and Okay

• This is my other split decision rating, when I like a book, but there was some flaw that held it back from being “Brain Candy.”

3 Stars – Like a Date With a “Nice” Guy

• I had a nice time, really, but we all know that means eventually it’s forgettable.  No real mystery, kind of bland, and just okay.  I’ll donate my copy to the library.  Equals three stars on Amazon.

2 Stars – I Hope I Didn’t Pay For This

• I finished the sucker, but man, I’m starting to regret the time I spent on it.  If I didn’t get this one from the library then I’m having a raging case of buyer’s remorse.  Equals two stars on Amazon.

1 Star – I Couldn’t Even Finish It

• Wow, this is bad.  It’s so bad, I would only read it if I was trapped on a deserted island with one book, and this is what I’m stuck with.  Also known as a DNF – Did not finish.  Equals one star on Amazon.
